Jewellery Making Workshops

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at making your own, beautiful piece of hand crafted silver jewellery ? Perhaps you have some experience of working with silver but would like to expand your range of skills and push your creative boundaries... Sign up for one of the Badger's fun workshops and get acquainted with your creative side. You will learn skills such as saw piercing, soldering, texturing and stone setting using professional grade equipment in safe and supportive surroundings. Our jewellery making workshops cover the creation of rings, bangles, earrings and more and cater for small groups of up to six people. All silver and other materials sufficient for the advertised topic are included in the cost of the course, as are tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits. 

Lamp-work Glass Bead Making Courses

Whether to add colour to future jewellery designs or simply for the love of working with hot glass, lamp-work glass bead making is absorbing and addictive. Fast track your way to a new, creative skill with one of the Badger's lamp-work glass bead making workshops at our North Lincolnshire studio. Working with professional grade oxy-propane glass torches you will learn to safely melt rods of brightly coloured glass and wind it around metal 'mandrels' to make your beads. We will make lots of beads in a session and you are free to choose your own colours from a wide range of beautifully coloured glass, much of it sourced from the Venetian island of Murano. After the Workshop your beads will need stay behind in order to be heat treated in our kilns after which they will be swiftly and securely posted out to you. As with all our workshops, all glass and other materials sufficient for the advertised topic are included in the cost of the course, as are tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits.
